SMS/ SCCM Testing & Deployment Analyst–South Yorkshire (£30K to £38K)



SMS/ SCCM Testing & Deployment Analyst based in South Yorkshire paying a salary of between £30,000 and £38,00 plus company benefits and on-call allowance).



Job Description:

• Publishing/testing and deployment of MSI-packaged applications.

• Producing reports on success rates of all deployed applications.

• Administration and support of Software Deployment and Asset Management systems.

• Liaising with on-site application discovery team and applications packaging team.

• Resolutions of problem/change requests within contracted SLA targets and working with Help Desk Analysts to ensure users are regularly updated.



Person Profile



Experience/skills - Essential

• Good Knowledge of Software Deployment via Remote Deployment Toolsets.

• Good knowledge/experience of Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS2003)

• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS 2.0)

• Knowledge and experience of SCCM

• Experience working in a 2nd/3rd level support environment.

• Knowledge of Desktop O/S’s - Windows 95/98, 2000 and XP Desktop.



Experience/skills – Desirable

• Knowledge/experience of CA Unicenter Asset Management (UAM)

• Knowledge/experience of CA Unicenter Remote Control (URC)

• Knowledge/experience of HP Radia

• An understanding of Remedy/EARS
